WEB DESIGN

Web Design

Custom websites with clear structure, distinctive design and an editing experience built for the people who will maintain them.

THE APPROACH

A website should make it easier to understand what you do — and easier to take the next step.

We start with the audience, the content and the decisions a visitor needs to make. Navigation and page structure come before decoration, so the design has a clear job to do.

The result is responsive, accessible, maintainable and recognizably yours rather than a lightly reskinned theme demo.

WHAT THIS INCLUDES

The work is shaped around the requirement, not a package checklist.

01

Custom design system

A visual language developed for your organization and carried consistently across the site.

02

Structured editing

Gutenberg blocks and content models that make routine updates clear without exposing fragile layout markup.

03

Responsive & accessible

Layouts designed for phones, tablets, keyboards and real content from the beginning, with WCAG requirements considered where applicable.

04

Performance-minded

Lean templates, sensible media handling and deliberate dependencies instead of unnecessary front-end weight.

HOW WE WORK

A direct process with the technical work close to the conversation.

01

Understand the audience

Clarify goals, content, priority journeys and what the current website is not doing well.

02

Shape the structure

Develop navigation, page hierarchy and the visual system together so content and design support each other.

03

Build & migrate

Create the theme and reusable blocks, then move and refine content carefully.

04

Launch & support

Test the real site, train the people who manage it and remain available as it evolves.

COMMON QUESTIONS

A few useful answers before you get in touch.

Website & WordPress

Website & WordPressDo you use pre-built WordPress themes?

The normal approach is a custom theme and structured Gutenberg editing experience built around the project. Established plugins are used where they genuinely fit the requirement; custom functionality is developed where they do not.

Website & WordPressDo you build accessible websites?

Accessibility is considered from structure and design through front-end development and testing. Where WCAG 2.2 AA is a project requirement, the site can be built and reviewed against that standard; ongoing conformance also depends on the content and documents added after launch.
